Our Fleet

Waidroka Bay Resort operates a fleet of five well-maintained boats designed for diving and surfing excursions. Our boat captains are locals and intimately familiar with the waves and reefs. Each boat is equipped with safety features and amenities to ensure that your experience will be comfortable and enjoyable.

All boats are equipped with life jackets, first aid kit, oxygen, etc., as well as a mobile phone, with which they are always in contact with the base at the resort, in order to ensure maximum safety. Water, snacks, and if you wish lunch packs, will always be onboard, as well as towels.

Our Boats

Yammy

A 23 foot fiberglass Yamaha boat with single 40 HP Yamaha outboard. The “YAMMY” is our local reef boat, with a V-shaped hull and a low drought, making it the most versatile in our local reef conditions. She can handle the outside reef well and is suited for quick excursions to the nearby beach.

Wave Hunter

A 29 foot fiberglass Yamaha boat with single 4-stroke 90 HP Mariner and a roof top.

Wave Rider

A 30 foot aluminum mono-hull with a twin engine Mercury 115HP setup, V-shaped hull and roof top.

Fiji Explorer

A 32 foot aluminum catamaran with twin 250 HP Mercury Verado 4-stroke outboards. The “FIJI EXPLORER” is one of our larger and faster boats, specifically designed for dive groups, with a back entry ladder for easy step up and has a hard roof top.

Dua Wai (Wtare Expert)

A 35 foot aluminum catamaran with twin 300 HP Mercury Verado 4-stroke outboards. The DAU WAI is our largest boat and is designed to take out dive groups. She is very comfortable, extremely fast, has a back entry ladder for easy step up after dives, and has a hard roof top.
