Naihehe Cave
The name of the cave says it all; Naihehe means ‘a place to get lost’. Naihehe Cave was home to the ‘Sautabu’ people during Fiji’s tribal warfare days. A short ride up the famous Sigatoka River Valley and then a light trek through farmland and forest brings you to the Naihehe Cave. Your adventure begins in the famous Sigatoka Valley (Salad Bowl of Fiji) for customary kava rituals and light trek through the farmland & forests to Naihehe Cave.
Spectacular rock formations, beautiful ‘sacred’ ponds and the grand Cathedral Chamber, as well as the pagan tribal remnants including a cannibal oven!
