WAIDROKA BAY RESORT – PHILOSOPHY

HISTORY:

Waidroka Bay Resort established in 1994 as a Dive-Resort, was discovered originally – by the first owner diving the Waidroka shores and discovering Waidroka Bay. Waidroka Bay Estate (the lots & community around the resort) was developed by Fiji’s  Taveuni Development Company, whilst the original resort owners took the initiative to secure the rights to run an exclusive resort-business within Waidroka Estates.

THE NEW BEGINNING:

In 2004 the current (2nd-owners), Boris & Karin purchased the resort and have since developed Waidroka Bay Resort into one of the leading Boutique Adventure Surf & Dive Resorts in Fiji. With tremendous dedication, hard work and investment over the past 18 years, Waidroka has become what it is today. This could not have been done without the dedication of ALL STAFF who have contributed over the many years to making Waidroka a truly SPECIAL PIECE OF FIJIAN PARADISE !

THE PHILOSOPHY:

The philosophy is to create an adventure based resort with surfing, diving, fishing & water-sports, combined with passionate staff, great amenities, super food and a Wellness Concept in terms of Yoga and Well-Being. The resort always tries to create a HOME-AWAY-FROM-HOME-ATMOSPHERE, whereas EVERY GUEST is treated as part of the Waidroka Family during their stay – enabling our guests to have an amazing base for exploration at the resort.
